The GAMMA Group: born of a passion for hospitality and utter dedication.

Well over 30 years ago, Peter Gamma founded GAMMACATERING AG. His aims: to cook for friends and customers, to serve his own food and to design and stage the finest events, celebrations and weddings.

As well as GAMMACATERING AG, the GAMMA Group’s members now include the Zunfthaus zur Saffran (Saffran AG), the HAUTE club restaurant (HAUTE SA) and the catering company for the Theater Casino Zug (Kultur Catering AG). At the start of 2018, Anke Krause (as majority shareholder) acquired the majority of votes together with Thomas Widmer. Peter Gamma, the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Bettina Meyer, Member of the Board of Directors, retain their participating interests in the GAMMA Group. Anke Krause began her many years of employment with the Group as manager of the HAUTE club restaurant in Zurich. She has headed the GAMMA Group as its CEO since 2013. Thomas Widmer, manager at HAUTE since 2011, has also been responsible for the Zunfthaus zur Saffran in Zurich since January 2017. Peter Gamma continues to play an active part in our Group.

Sustainability is part of our commitment to our guests and clients, so the GAMMA Group was happy to undergo a rigorous inspection. The result was pleasing: all our operations were awarded the Sustainable Company certification – to show our love of the environment, and for the sake of us all.
